RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Monday, 21 March 2022 – The Command and Staff Course (CSC) 12/2022, led by Lieutenant Colonel Mohd Sallehudin bin Dato Paduka Haji Puasa, Senior Directing Staff, Command and Staff College, Defence Academy (DA RBAF), paid a visit to the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) at the Rimba Air Base.
The delegation which consisted of 41 locals and international students, including the Command and Staff College’s Directing Staff were formally welcomed by
Lieutenant Colonel (U) Zulkhairin bin Haji Ibrahim,
Assistance Chief of Staff of RBAirF at Alap-Alap Briefing Room, RBAirF Headquarters.
The highlight of the visit was the presentation on the “Future of the Airforce: Prospects and Challenges” by Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, Commander of RBAirF. The brief covers the roles of RBAirF in the contemporary operating environment and how it can shape the RBAirF at present as well as in future contexts.
The discussion with the RBAirF Commander during the session provides course participants with insightful knowledge and an overview of current and future RBAirF. The briefing was then followed by a photo session and presentation of the CSC Plaque to the RBAirF Commander. The visit was concluded with a static display of RBAirF’s capabilities at Air Movement Center, Rimba Air Base.
